RECIPES & SHOPPING LIST
So.. Now that you have had the chance to think about how your dishes are going to be looking, we will provide you with the recipes. Don't worry, they aren't that hard to make. But just to make sure that it tastes as good as our chefs would make it, we will upload videos on how to make it. For now, you can have a look at the recipes and the corresponding 'compulsory luggage', or as you might also call it, a grocery list.
Please keep in mind that some of the recipes take a while to make, and you won't have the time to prepare them on the train, as the ride only takes a couple of hours. We would advise you to roast the chickpeas and the pumpkin in the 1st recipe beforehand, you can do this the morning of the train ride or maybe even the night before.
The filling for the quiche you can also prepare the morning of the train ride or the evening before. This leaves us with more time to solve crimes when you're here, which is of course the goal of the ride...
For the tiramisu we advise you to make it the day before, or even today already. The tiramisu has to be in the fridge for 3 + 9 hours, so we suggest that you make it before Thursday night. You can leave tiramisu in the fridge for up to 3 days.
The recipes also require some equipment. Please have a close look at the recipes before going grocery shopping in order to have everything in your luggage when boarding the train. Think of a stick blender for the soup, a 25 cm pie plate and parchment paper.
Please note that the pumpkin soup is for 2 servings, so if your party is smaller or bigger than this you need to adjust the ingredient sizes.
